Dear Life Church Members,
Thank you to all who voted yesterday in the runoff election to finalize the membership on the Nomination Vetting Ministry Team (NVMT). Of a 196 total voting members, 145 participated in the vote.
In the vote to determine the third man serving as a permanent member Lance Nord won with 84 votes over John Blume with 61 votes.
In the runoff vote to determine the sixth place finisher and man filling a temporary role on the NVMT until the elder election, Wade Miller won with 81 votes over Doug Webster with 64 votes.
So the final places for the men on the NVMT have now been determined. Lance Nord will join Derk Maggert and Mike Robertson in serving a two year term on the team.
The temporary members filling the 3 elder positions until the elder election are now John Blume who finishes in 4thoverall, along with Chris Elliott, and Wade Miller who finishes 6th overall.
These men join the 3 Women elected to a two year term on the team which are Nicole Rostad, Sarah Johnson, and Amber Gerstmann.
Congratulations to these nine individuals. May the Lord give you wisdom in serving on the NVMT as you vet the upcoming elder nominations.
