Greg Permann
Associate Pastor
I met the Lord and was introduced to Life Church (formerly Community Bible Church) in the fall of 1979 and have never looked back! Becoming a fully devoted and surrendered disciple of Jesus Christ has been my most fundamental motivation of each day of my life ever since. Meeting and marrying my wife, Lynn, and being able to raise 6 wonderful children has been truly amazing and rewarding! After attending Christ for the Nations Institute, in Dallas, Texas and Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota I accepted a position here at Life Church as a Children’s Pastor. While my role here has changed over the years, I still enjoy being around the children. I love people and thrive on building relationship with all ages! Outside the church you will likely find me with family, or fishing and designing and building things. I believe every human being is created in God’s image and has the opportunity and calling to discover that image and then display it for the world to see!

Shelly Rostad
Administrative Assistant
Shelly has called Life Church her home church since 1989. She has been married to Ken since 1987 and have blended their family, with the Lord’s help, of four amazing children. Eleven grandkids have joined their family that they love to spend time with. In 2019 Shelly left her insurance position of 30 years to become the Administrative/Financial Assistant at Life Church. She has always had a desire to serve the church and to come alongside the pastoral staff and ministries to help them do all that God has placed in them. Her desire is to see the church make a difference in our community and for people to come to know Jesus and His love for them. Her favorite things are time with family, most everything outside, gardening and seeing what God is doing in people's lives.

Lindsey Hauck
Nursery Coordinator
Lindsey, an Enneagram 7 and ENFP, strongly enjoys fellowshipping with people from all walks of life. Lindsey enjoys blessing people via the culinary arts and opening up her home as a place of comfort to those who visit. She is fluent in text conversations utilizing only GIFS but is also quite skilled at awkwardly turning small talk into medium talk. Her Love Language is "Gifts of Coffee and Pastries."
Lindsey married her high school sweetheart, Kyle, in 2007. Kyle would describe Lindsey as "the only wife who would ever allow her husband to hunt this much." Together they are raising their three children, Caedmon, Quinn, and Graham to be lovers of Jesus, hard work, and all things outdoors. They also are parents to two Labrador Retrievers, Tank and Willow, and will readily admit that sometimes they are the favorite children.
While Lindsey was pursuing her degree in Political Science Education with an emphasis in History, Kyle decided they should instead pursue running an outfitting business guiding waterfowl hunts in Saskatchewan every fall. This proves to be a great use of Lindsey's culinary and medium talk skills. But alas, being the Nursery Coordinator for Life Church juxtaposes Lindsey's love for small children, tangibly serving God's Kingdom and exercising her God-given giftings for His glory. Lindsey's life-grounding verses are Proverbs 17:1 and Hebrews 13:2.

Dave Fournier
Dave’s walk with the Lord Jesus began at age 17 (1978) when he received the fullness of the Holy Spirit. He worked at holding regular bible studies, whenever possible, during his 4 years in the Marine Corps. During that time, he fell in love with helping other understand the Word of God better, learning about the wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of the Word of God. He joined Life Church in March of 1984, while it was called Community Bible Church (CBC) and quickly fell in love with the people. David met Jane Hoff at a youth meeting at CBC in June of 1984 and they were married at CBC in July of 1985. They left for World Harvest Bible College in August 1987 for deeper biblical training and returned to CBC in July of 1993. Since that time Dave has continued serving the people of Life Church in several different ways: Adult Bible Classes, children’s Sunday School, mowing, vacuuming, counselling and worship team.

Doug Newby
I grew up in Kansas and moved to Fergus Falls in 2012 with my wife and two kids. Kerry and I have been married for 22 years and we have 5 kids with one on the way and consider Minnesota home. Life Church has been an important part of our lives since we moved here. This church was the first church we visited when we came to Fergus and we immediately connected with the people and ministries offered here. I've been involved in several ministries over the years including men's and Sunday morning adult classes. I was part of the Transition Team and it is an honor to now serve as an elder. My full time job is Quality Assurance Analyst for Bank of the West however, on the side I coach CrossFit classes and am a personal trainer.

Ken Rostad

We have a blended family with 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren, with whom I enjoy spending much of my free time. My hobbies include snowmobiling, fishing, and watching baseball, much of which are done with my family. It is truly an honor to be able to serve as an elder at Life Church. My heart’s desire is for us as a church to reach out to our community in love as well as support missions locally and around the world to reach the lost. I am also committed to help the people of Life Church to be equipped, willing to serve with the Holy Spirit’s guidance to fulfill the calling He has for us.
