I met the Lord and was introduced to Life Church (formerly Community Bible Church) in the fall of 1979 and have never looked back! Becoming a fully devoted and surrendered disciple of Jesus Christ has been my most fundamental motivation of each day of my life ever since. Meeting and marrying my wife, Lynn, and being able to raise 6 wonderful children has been truly amazing and rewarding! After attending Christ for the Nations Institute, in Dallas, Texas and Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota I accepted a position here at Life Church as a Children’s Pastor. While my role here has changed over the years, I still enjoy being around the children. I love people and thrive on building relationship with all ages! Outside the church you will likely find me with family, or fishing and designing and building things. I believe every human being is created in God’s image and has the opportunity and calling to discover that image and then display it for the world to see!

Amber has a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Trinity Bible College of North Dakota and a Master of Theological Studies from Liberty University in Virginia. Worship and Media Pastors
Trevor serves on the leadership team, helping prepare for worship on the weekends. Trevor grew up in Cameroon, Africa, the son of missionaries, and lived there until 11. Since then he calls the upper Midwest home. He met Amber at Trinity Bible College in North Dakota, where they both pursued Biblical Studies and Music degrees. They married during college and moved to Cold Spring, MN in 2009 to join a church leading worship. In 2014 they moved to Fergus Falls. Trevor tackled carpentry and construction and they served as volunteers at Life Church during that time. They joined the staff leadership in mid 2019. They love their talented and servant-hearted teams they get to serve alongside. Trevor has four super-smart and fun kiddos, and another is on the way! He enjoys building, tinkering, and fixing all sorts of projects that come with being a dad, husband, and homeowner. Trevor also loves watching Formula 1, as well as ‘nerding out’ on physics and math.
Lindsey, an Enneagram 7 and ENFP, strongly enjoys fellowshipping with people from all walks of life. Lindsey enjoys blessing people via the culinary arts and opening up her home as a place of comfort to those who visit. She is fluent in text conversations utilizing only GIFS but is also quite skilled at awkwardly turning small talk into medium talk. Her Love Language is "Gifts of Coffee and Pastries."
Lindsey married her high school sweetheart, Kyle, in 2007. Kyle would describe Lindsey as "the only wife who would ever allow her husband to hunt this much." Together they are raising their three children, Caedmon (11), Quinn (9) and Graham (7) to be lovers of Jesus, hard work, and all things outdoors. They also are parents to two Labrador Retrievers, Tank and Willow, and will readily admit that sometimes they are the favorite children.
While Lindsey was pursuing her degree in Political Science Education with an emphasis in History, Kyle decided they should instead pursue running an outfitting business guiding waterfowl hunts in Saskatchewan every fall. This proves to be a great use of Lindsey's culinary and medium talk skills. But alas, being the Nursery Coordinator for Life Church juxtaposes Lindsey's love for small children, tangibly serving God's Kingdom and exercising her God-given giftings for His glory. Lindsey's life-grounding verses are Proverbs 17:1 and Hebrews 13:2.
Shelly has called Life Church her home church since 1989. She has been married to Ken since 1987 and have blended their family, with the Lord’s help, of four amazing children. They knew once the grandkids started coming, it would be fast & furious and as of today they enjoy all ten of them. In 2019 Shelly left her insurance position of 30 years to become the Administrative Assistant at Life Church. She has always had a desire to serve the church and to come alongside the pastoral staff and ministries to help them do all that God has placed in them. Her desire is to see the church make a difference in our community and for people to come to know Jesus and His love for them. Her favorite things are time with family, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, camping, and her dachshund, Ruger.
Pamela grew up in Park Rapids and attended North Central University, studying and earning a degree in music. She moved to Fergus Falls in 1993 and began work at then Community Bible Church while teaching piano lessons to many children of the community. She continued to work full-time at Life Church until 2007 when the Lord began leading her in a different direction. She completed a degree in elementary education and began her new career as a teacher. She currently teaches second grade at Adams School and loves the challenge and connection associated with a classroom of children. As an auntie to twenty, that delightful role takes up much free time, but she also enjoys travel, hiking, games, and art.
I was raised in Life Church (then Community Bible Church), and when I was 19 I really grasped what walking with Jesus should and could be like. Since then I have endeavored to follow each step He has ordained for me, walking surrendered to His will daily. I left Fergus Falls for college followed by an Air Force career as a Space & Missile Officer. We moved back to the Fergus area in 2015 when I retired from the military and have attended Life Church ever since. I am currently employed at Security State Bank. Niki and I were married in 1993 and have two children: Alyssa and Zachary. My hope and prayer for Life Church is that it be a place that nurtures and exemplifies Christlikeness. That is the heart of discipleship; to spur one another on to think like Christ, to speak like Christ, to act like Christ, to live like Christ, to love like Christ. Christ is our foundation, our cornerstone. With this foundation firmly established and continually embraced, I am confident that God will continue to use this body of believers in new and exciting ways to fulfill the great calling He has placed on our church.
Dave’s walk with the Lord Jesus began at age 17 (1978) when he received the fullness of the Holy Spirit. He worked at holding regular bible studies, whenever possible, during his 4 years in the Marine Corps. During that time, he fell in love with helping other understand the Word of God better, learning about the wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of the Word of God. He joined Life Church in March of 1984, while it was called Community Bible Church (CBC) and quickly fell in love with the people. David met Jane Hoff at a youth meeting at CBC in June of 1984 and they were married at CBC in July of 1985. They left for World Harvest Bible College in August 1987 for deeper biblical training and returned to CBC in July of 1993. Since that time Dave has continued serving the people of Life Church in several different ways: Adult Bible Classes, children’s Sunday School, mowing, vacuuming, counselling and worship team.
My wife, Tasha, and I were married in 1986. Together we have served the Lord while raising eight children along the way. I am retired from a career in law-enforcement and currently work part-time as a driver for Ottertail/MinnDakota Coaches. I enjoy spending time with my family and fellowshipping with church family. I enjoy everything outdoors, but mostly pheasant hunting in the fall. I feel humbled to be a part of the elder team here at Life Church. My continuing prayer is to see God’s Spirit move freely at Life Church, bringing about fruit that glorifies Jesus Christ and advances the Kingdom of God.
Seth grew up north of Grand Forks. After college he moved to Fergus Falls where he currently works from home as a Field Supervisor for Minnesota Crop Improvement Assn. Seth has been married to his wife Hope since 2016. They and their three boys Gideon, Vivian, and Hudson live on a hobby farm about thirty miles northeast of Fergus Falls. Seth has been attending Life Church since 2015 and has a deep appreciation for all the people that he has gotten to know and learn from over those years. One thing Seth is passionate about is seeing people feel and experience the love and grace of God in their lives just like he has. Being able to partner with the church to see that happen is an honor for him and his family. Some of Seth’s hobbies include spending time with family, working on projects around the farm, doing seasonal field work, and watching Minnesota sports teams.
My wife Sarah and I have been members of Life Church for over 10 years and have four fantastic children: Caleb (11), Elijah (9), Adelaide (7) and Paul (5). I have served in many ministries within Life Church (men’s, small groups, Sunday School), but both my wife and I have had a main focus serving in the children’s ministry. I feel blessed and honored every day to be a Elder and part of the ministry teams at Life Church! My relationship with God is the most important part of my life, followed by my family. For those of you that don’t know me, I enjoy hard work, solving problems, getting things accomplished, finishing strong and fishing.
I grew up in Kansas and moved to Fergus Falls in 2012 with my wife and two kids. Kerry and I have been married for 22 years and we have 5 kids with one on the way and consider Minnesota home. Life Church has been an important part of our lives since we moved here. This church was the first church we visited when we came to Fergus and we immediately connected with the people and ministries offered here. I've been involved in several ministries over the years including men's and Sunday morning adult classes. I was part of the Transition Team and it is an honor to now serve as an elder. My full time job is Quality Assurance Analyst for Bank of the West however, on the side I coach CrossFit classes and am a personal trainer.
I grew up on a farm north of Underwood, MN and am the youngest of 8 children born to Kenneth & Juneice Rostad. I fully committed my life to Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit as a young adult in the 1980’s. My wife Shelly and I met in 1986 and were married the following year. We have a blended family with 4 adult children and 10 grandchildren, with whom I enjoy spending much of my free time. I have worked for Otter Tail Power for 13 years. My hobbies include snowmobiling, fishing, and watching baseball, much of which are done with my family. It is truly an honor to be able to serve as an elder at Life Church. My heart’s desire is for us as a church to reach out to our community in love as well as support missions locally and around the world to reach the lost. I am also committed to help the people of Life Church to be equipped, willing to serve with the Holy Spirit’s guidance to fulfill the calling He has for us.
